What is Birthday Buddy, exactly?

A companion that lives in WhatsApp. I remember the birthdays and anniversaries of people you import. A few days before a birthday I nudge you, and hitting Draft it brings back a message written to sound like you. I ping you again on the day itself. Anniversaries get the same reminders and their own drafts, kept deliberately simple: unless you have told me who the other half of the couple is, I leave everything I remember out of them.

Do you read my WhatsApp chats?

Not by default. I only see the messages you send straight to me. On Pro you can opt in to link your device, and then I read your conversations (both sides) to learn how you write and remember a little context about your people. It is stored encrypted, used only for your drafts, never sold or shared, and you can pause or wipe it anytime.

Where do the birthdays come from?

From you. Share a batch of contacts, type someone in directly, connect Google Contacts, or bring them across from an iPhone or an Android in a couple of taps.

Free for up to 10 people with a date. Pro is $29.99 a year on the launch offer, down from $49.99, which works out to $2.50 a month. Prefer monthly? That is $2.99, down from $4.99. Either way it is 40% off for as long as you keep it, new members get a 14 day free trial, and you can cancel anytime.

Can I send it a voice note?

On Pro, yes. Talk instead of typing and I act on what you said, whether that is adding a birthday or asking me to write something. On Free, type it out and everything works exactly the same.

Will the messages really sound like me?

That is the whole idea. I learn your tone with each person from the messages you send me, and you can teach me faster by sharing a WhatsApp chat export. Every draft still comes back to you to send as is or tweak first.

How do I delete my data?

Send one message to wipe a single person or everything. Your data leaves your account instantly and is held, unreachable, for 180 days in case you want it back, then it is gone for good. You can ask for immediate deletion instead, and you can reset your private link key anytime.
